Children of Hope began in November of 2001 in a living room located in the governmental housing projects of Morristown, TN. Two women felt the call of God to reach out to the children and youth in that small neighborhood. It was impressed on their hearts that these children needed to know about Jesus, how to have a personal relationship with Him, and how to seek God for the purpose and plan He had for their life. These women began holding Friday Night Bible Studies in a living room with 15 kids from the neighborhood. In September 2002, God gave them a name, “Children of Hope”. In 2005, Children of Hope purchased 12.95 acres of land. Over the years, God kept sending children, volunteers, transportation, and larger places to meet. Now, God has sent hundreds of children and youth to Children of Hope. Many seeds of The Gospel have been planted and lives have been changed.

One day soon, God will provide a permanent home for COH with a greater opportunity to teach more children about our Lord Jesus. Trusting God, we faithfully continue the work entrusted to us, and give God all the glory! We consider it a privilege to be used as a tool in the mighty hand of God. May He always receive the praise, honor and glory.
